HOW I WORK

I work through a relational developmental approach. This means I am interested in how you experience and show up in relationships, as well as your background and it’s influence on where you are now.

Over time, when it's safe enough, we can bring awareness to these aspects of you, with the intention of opening new ways of being.

AREAS I HAVE WORKED WITH

I have worked with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family dynamics, sexual and emotional abuse, stress, guilt and shame.

I am interested in working with individuals who want something different for themselves and are open to make changes in their life.

PRACTICALITIES

Sessions are 60 minutes, held weekly either in-person or online. My in-person sessions are held in Thurmaston, Leicestershire. Each session is charged at £50, payable on the day of the session.

You are not time-limited - I work on an open-ended basis, so together we can decide when the right time is for you to finish. My availability is dependent on what I have committed to already, so do get in touch to discuss availability.

NEXT STEPS

Send me an email including the detail at the bottom of the page. We will then have a 15-20 minute phone call (free of charge) for you to get a sense of me, and for me to understand what you’re looking for. If we feel we are a good fit for each other, we will book an initial 50 minute session.

In this session, I’ll tell you a bit more about how I work and gather some information about you and your background. I’ll ask you about your presenting issues, previous experiences of counselling and what you’re hoping for.

GET IN TOUCH

If you're interested in talking therapy with me, please send me an email. It would be helpful to include:

  • Your full name

  • Your mobile number

  • Any questions you might have

  • Some times that might work for you for a phone call

I'll get back to you within two working days and we'll go from there.

I'm mindful of how difficult it can be to reach out for support, so I hope to make you feel as comfortable as I can.
